As of now, over <strong>3,354 people have lost their lives<\/strong>, <strong>more than 4,800 are injured<\/strong>, and <strong>over 200 remain missing<\/strong>. Entire communities have been shaken to the core, with more than <strong>5,200 buildings<\/strong>, <strong>1,800 schools<\/strong>, and <strong>4,800 religious sites<\/strong> damaged or destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"670\" height=\"411\" src=\"http:\/\/homeofmercy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/myanmarmosque.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-83\" srcset=\"https:\/\/homeofmercy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/myanmarmosque.jpg 670w, https:\/\/homeofmercy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/myanmarmosque-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/homeofmercy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/myanmarmosque-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to this tragic crisis, <strong>\u6148\u6fdf\u4e4b\u5bb6<\/strong> has launched an <strong>urgent emergency fundraising appeal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Though <strong>Ramadan has passed<\/strong>, the responsibility to stand with those in need continues. Our faith calls us to act with mercy, generosity, and urgency\u2014and this is one of those moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are not working from afar. <strong>Home of Mercy is actively coordinating with trusted, registered Thai Muslim organisations<\/strong> based near the <strong>Myanmar\u2013Thailand border<\/strong>, who are already distributing <strong>emergency supplies<\/strong> on the ground. These supplies include <strong>food, water, shelter materials, and vital medical aid<\/strong> to those who have lost everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains.&#8221;<\/strong><br><em>\u2013 Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc94 <strong>They need us.
