At Home of Mercy, we believe that cultural exchange is a bridge to deeper understanding and unity. Through unique experiences—like learning the art of Chinese Islamic calligraphy—we create spaces where diverse communities can come together, share traditions, and build meaningful connections. These events not only foster mutual respect and appreciation, but also serve a greater purpose: raising funds for those in urgent need, such as victims of the Myanmar earthquake. Urgent Emergency Fundraising Appeals
A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake recently struck central Myanmar, unleashing widespread devastation
Though Ramadan has passed, the responsibility to stand with those in need continues. Our faith calls us to act with mercy, generosity, and urgency—and this is one of those moments.
We are not working from afar. Home of Mercy is actively coordinating with trusted, registered Thai Muslim organizations based near the Myanmar–Thailand border, who are already distributing emergency supplies on the ground. These supplies include food, water, shelter materials, and vital medical aid to those who have lost everything.
Thailand Flood Appeals
Alhamdulillah, with the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over £1,200!
These funds were used to provide much-needed aid to those affected by the severe flooding in the areas between Thailand and Burma, near the city of Tachileik.
