Myanmar Earthquake Appeal

On Friday 28th March 2025, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar, unleashing widespread devastation. As of now, over 3,354 people have lost their lives, more than 4,800 are injured, and over 200 remain missing. Entire communities have been shaken to the core, with more than 5,200 buildings, 1,800 schools, and 4,800 religious sites damaged or destroyed.

In response to this tragic crisis, 慈濟之家 has launched an urgent emergency fundraising appeal.

Though Ramadan has passed, the responsibility to stand with those in need continues. Our faith calls us to act with mercy, generosity, and urgency—and this is one of those moments.

We are not working from afar. Home of Mercy is actively coordinating with trusted, registered Thai Muslim organisations based near the Myanmar–Thailand border, who are already distributing emergency supplies on the ground. These supplies include food, water, shelter materials, and vital medical aid to those who have lost everything.
